Friends of Capitol Modern (formerly the Friends of HiSAM) is proud to reintroduce our organization with the Mod Gala, a fashion-forward event aimed at celebrating Hawai'i's rising stars in the avant-garde. This year's theme, “Botanical Rhapsody: A Floral Odyssey," draws inspiration from the enchanting world of botanicals, weaving together elements of nature and artistry to create a captivating experience. MOD Gala "Botanical Rhapsody: A Floral Odyssey" invites you to the Hawai'i State Art Museum to experience the broad edges of creativity in fashion, culinary, music, culture, technology, and more! Friends of Capitol Modern supports the mission of the Capitol Modern Art Museum to engage Hawai'i through new art and culture-based experiences. It is a small community gallery with a big responsibility to serve all of Hawai'i by presenting an evolving and compelling portrait of our islands.
